UPDATED: October 26, 2020
Settting Up Your Platform for Your Delivery Needs: How to Add "dummy" Drivers and how to edit existing drivers.
How "dummy" Drivers Work:
Some things to note to help you understand how the On the Go Delivery Platform works:You have been provided with your own instance within the On the Go Delivery Platform that allows you to schedule your deliveries in advance and on-demand. Your Platform has been set up with 26 “dummy” drivers, vehicles and routes that all correspond to each other. The reason for the “dummy” information is each delivery needs to be attached to a driver, vehicle and route before it can be sent over to Lyft. You do not need to manually attach your deliveries to this information, it is automatically taken care of in the optimization tool. If you need more than 26 sections of the “dummy” information, the first few videos and sections of the toolkit go through how to create additional “dummy” information.
