How Client Profiles Work:
Every delivery recipient has a Client Profile. Follow the steps below whenever you need to create a new Client Profile for a delivery recipient.Steps:
- Navigate to the Scheduling tab, and click on the Clients icon.
- On the Client Profile form input all of the required (*) fields:
- First Name and Last Name*: Enter the Clientâs first and last name.
- DOB, Age, Gender, Weight, Height, SSN - If you are collecting personalized demographics, enter them here.
- Client Class* - If using, select from the dropdown menu the Client Class with which youâd like the client to be associated.
- Phone 1* - Type in the Clientâs main phone number. It can be either their cell phone or landline. NOTE: This is the number that will populate in the Lyft driverâs app for the Delivery recepient. The Lyft driver will call this number to contact the client if the driver has any questions about where to drop off the delivery.
- Contact Name and Contact Phone - If you enter a Contact Name and Contact Phone number it will override the clientâs name and Phone 1 in the Lyft driverâs app. Use the Contact fields if a caretaker, relative, or other primary point of contact will be receiving the delivery for the client. If Contact Name and Contact Phone are left blank, the Clientâs name and Phone 1 will be sent to the Lyft driverâs app.
- Account - Select the account with whom the client is associated.
- Primary Provider - Primary Providers are not be used for deliveries. Leave blank.
- Status - Active Status will default. You can use a âHoldâ Status if your client doesnât want to receive deliveries for a period of time. You can also select a client as Inactive if they are no longer receiving deliveries. When a client is on hold or inactive status, a scheduler will not be able to schedule deliveries for them.
- The map icon next to the Primary Name, can be used to verify where the GPS pin is dropping for the Primary Address (home address or main address where the delivery recipient will receive deliveries). If you want to move the pin around â for example, if your client would like to receive deliveries in the back ofthe house â you can set the location using the blue locations link.
- Needs: Check off the delivery item the client will be receiving. For example, if your organizationâs account is set up to deliver Frozen Meals or Groceries and the Clientâs profile is set to receive Frozen Meals, the Need âFrozen Mealsâ will be checked.
- Notes - Enter in any specialized notes youâd like the Lyft Driver or Dispatching team to see.
- The driver note will cut off in the Lyft app at 100 characters, approximatley 2/3 of the way across the Note field
- Click the blue icon checkbox to send the note to the driver and/or the pink icon checkbox for the note to be visible to the dispatcher.
- Click the floppy disc button to save your edits.
