How to Bulk Import Client Profiles


To import a group of new delivery recipients at one time, you can complete a bulk client import using the specific .csv template.

Steps:

  1. Click here to download .csv template for Bulk Client Imports.
  2. Insert your client data into the .csv template. Headers on the template:
    • Last Name and First Name - Name of the delivery recipient.
    • Account 1 - The main account with whom the delivery recipient is affiliated.
    • Account 1 Member # - If your organizaton is using account member numbers input the client’s member number (optional).
    • Account 2 - If your client is associated with more than one account, enter the secondary account (optional).
    • Account 2 Member # - If your organizaton is using account member numbers input the client’s Account 2 member number (optional).
    • Self Pay (Y/N) - Typically Self Pay is not used in deliveries. Enter "N" for No.
    • Phone Number - The main phone number of the delivery recipient (cell or landline). This is the number that will populate in the staff/volunteer driver mobile app or the Lyft driver app.
    • Email - The primary email address of the client (optional).
    • Street Address, Unit (optional), City, State Zip Code - Home/Primary address of the delivery recipient.
    • Contact Name and contact Phone - If someone other than the delivery recipient will be recieving the delivery (caregiver, family member etc.) enter the point of contact name and number (optional).
    • DOB - Date of birth of the delivery recipient (optional).
    • Client Class - Client Class of the delivery recipient (optional).
    • Gender - Gender of the delivery recipient (optional).
    • Weight - Weight of the delivery recipient (optional).
    • Seating Needs - What is being delivered to the delivery recipient (Grocery Box, Frozen Meals etc). Needs can be found on the Client Profile form or the Scheduling form.
    • Notes - Add permanent notes for the driver and/or dispatch team. This note will appear everytime a delivery is scheduled for the delivery recipient (optional).
  3. To import your data, navigate to the Scheduling Tab, and click on the Clients icon.
  4. Click on the small icon with two people on it at the top left corner of the Client Profile screen.
  5. Select Bulk Client Import from the dropdown menu.
  6. When the Bulk Client Importer window opens, click on Choose Import File.
  7. On your computer, select the saved .csv file.
  8. The client information from your .csv will populate into the grid. You can click on any field to edit the information.
  9. If you are importing driver and/or dispatch notes check off the corresponding boxes on the top of the screen.
  10. Click Import Clients to import the grid and create new Client Profiles.
    • You will be notified if a client cannot (or should not) be imported with an alert icon in the far left column of the gird.
    • A window icon will populate in the far left column if the client already exists.
