How to Bulk Import Deliveries:
You can bulk upload deliveries from a .csv spreadsheet on your computer.Steps:
- Download the Bulk Delivery Import .csv template to upload mulitiple Deliveries. Click here to download and use the Bulk Deliveries Import .csv template.
- Insert your data into the .csv template and save the worksheet on your computer.
Headers on the Bulk Client Import Template:
- Last Name and First Name - First and Last Name of the delivery recipient.
- CIN - Client Identification Number if youâre using;
- BirthdateDate of birth of client if youâre collecting birthdates;
- PickupDate - Date the delivery is to take place
- PickupScheduleTime - The time the delivery should be picked up at the pick-up location. Time is entered in long format, i.e. 10:30:00 AM
- OriginAddress - Pick-up location address. Any suite or unit numbers should be entered at the end of the address separated by a comma, do not enter a period after the address. For example, 123 First Ave, Ste. 500
- OriginCity, OriginState, OriginZip - Pick-up location city, state and postal code;
- APPOINTMENTTIME - the time the delivery should be picked up at the pick-up location. Time is entered in long format, i.e. 10:30:00 AM (Enter the same time as you entered in PickupScheduleTime)
- DestinationAddress, DestinationCity, DestinationState, DestinationZip: - Home address of the delivery recipient
- Mode of Transportation: - enter âAmbuletteâ this will switch over to âLyftâ once imported into the system
- Contact Name and Contact Phone: - Enter a Contact Name and Phone if someone other than the client/delivery recipient will be receiving the delivery.
- Notes: Enter any notes for the driver
- TripNeeds: - Enter what is being delivered (Grocery Box, Frozen Meal etc.)
- TripID, AppointmentID, AppointmentDetailID, FacilitiyGroupName, LEGCD - Are all left blank, but do not delete the columns.
- Telephone - Is the main telephone number of the delivery recipient
*NOTE: If a delivery recipient does not have an existing Client Profile upon delivery import, one will automatically be created. It is important to have TripNeeds/delivery item and Telephone from above filled in for any new delivery recipients.
- Go to the Scheduling Tab, and click on the Importer icon. Select the Account into which youâll be importing by typing in the first few letters of the name of the Account in the Account to Import field.
- Select the Client Class if using.
- On the Settings tab be sure to click Notes Visible to Driver and/or Notes Visible to Dispatcher if you are importing Notes (instructions for the Lyft driver/dispatch team). As well as the Import Phone # checkbox.
- From the Import tab, click on Source: Choose Import File and select your saved .csv file from your computer.
- Once your grid populates, you can edit any field by clicking on it.
- If a delivery already exists or cannot be imported, you will receive an alert icon or a window icon in the far-left column of the grid.
- If you are uploading a delivery for a new client, the software will automatically create a Client Profile for the delivery recipient. Be sure to fill in any additional contact information in the grid that is needed for a new Client Profile before completing the Import.
- The bottom of the screen will tell you the number of deliveries (indicated by Trips), clients and new clients you are importing.
- If everything on your grid looks correct, select Import Trips.
- The grid will go blank when your deliveries are successfully imported. You will be able to see the deliveries in the Viewer screen or on the clientâs schedule.
